Job Description:

  • To promote sales and market all products and services offered and expand customer listing to meet and exceed targets and goals.
  • To develop an intimate knowledge of all products and their applications in the industry and the operation, calibration and maintenance of all relevant equipment


Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned lines of Air Quality Equipment and keep track of potential leads and revenue vs targets.
  • Liaise with suppliers to keep abreast of new products, product changes, pricing and technical queries and provide monthly update reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Perform frequent customer site visits to promote products and build relationships
  • Provide support for customers to find suitable solutions for their monitoring applications
  • Prepare quotations for customers and follow up on all sales leads
  • Support the Technical Services Department with operational application and diagnostic procedures for instrument lines
  • Develop standard operating procedures for air quality related instruments
  • Handle specialty requests for environmental and industrial hygiene applications
  • Provide assistance and technical support to other personnel in department/company, where applicable


Job Requirements:

  • BSc in Engineering, Natural Science and Environment or equivalent
  • 3-4 years’ sales experience, experience in an Industrial sales environment is an asset
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication skills with a dynamic personality
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, plan and schedule customer visits weekly
  • Must possess a vehicle in good working order
  • Confident and comfortable making PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to work flexible hours toward meeting quotas and deadlines
  • Experience and/or training in instrumentation and managing and analyzing data will be an asset
