Indoor Environmental Quality and Mold Awareness for Hot and Humid Climates Workshop

Facilitators: Mr. Andreas Wagner, M.Eng., CIH, ROH (Golder Associates Inc.) & Ms. Elizabeth Seebaran, MSc. CIE (ROSE Environmental Ltd)

We spend greater than 90 percent of our time indoors, so the quality of indoor air and the indoor environment is a significant influence on the health of occupants. It is widely recognized that maintaining good indoor air quality in the workplace leads to significant benefits in terms of good health, decreased absenteeism, increased productivity, motivation of staff, and reductions in non-productive time. Mold inspection and testing has also rapidly increased over the last few years, as a response to greater concern for building air quality. We have received many requests for training in this area, and we are very pleased to offer a workshop that has been so designed.
As such, we propose to offer the following 2-day workshop titled “Indoor Environmental Quality (and mold awareness) for Hot and Humid Climates” in our training agenda for 2020.
